The history of Wedgwood pottery goes way back to 1759, when it was founded by Josiah Wedgwood. This particular style is called Jasperware which has an unglazed, matte finish. They were produced in different colours, of which the best known is this pale blue known as the Wedgwood Blue.
The relief decorations are typically in contrasting white and gives Jasperware a cameo effect. Has some scuff marks. No chips or cracks.
