Otagiri was an importer of Japanese stoneware and ceramics between 1958 and 1994. The make on this music box is immaculate, with a detailed paint job and a perfectly functional mechanism. There’s an on/off toggle on the bottom of the music box. Has a good weight to it, take note of a small chip on the middle mouse’s ear. Written '1992' on the bottom.
IMPORTANT: Music Box Care
Music box mechanisms can be damaged when overwound, hence generally I do not wind more than 3/4 of a full turn at one go! Let the music play out and wind it again instead of winding excessively. Refer to video for demonstration.
