The Hazel-Atlas Glass Company was founded in 1902, as a merger between 4 companies that specialise in glass and metal. Hazel-Atlas produced large quantities of Depression Glass during the 1920s–1940s. The company closed down in 1964, which means this set is at least 57 years old!
These sets are from their ‘Moroccan’ collection, featuring an octagonal saucer and cone-shaped teacup with an angular handle. This set is closer to a purple in real life, but looks like a smoky brown under sunlight. View picture with pink background for accurate colour depiction.
