Federal Glass was established in Columbus, Ohio in 1900. In the 1940s, they made glassware for restaurants, hospitals, hotels and even the military during World War II!
In the 1960s, the preference for dinnerware turned to plastics—not long after, Federal Glass ceased operations in 1979. 😟
This particular design is known as ‘Moon Glow’, a milk glass with an iridescent sheen. It is truly one of the most beautiful finishes I’ve ever seen and looks even better in person. Swipe for video!
